Spring has definitely sprung and summer is right around the corner. Have you started pulling out your wind chimes, bird feeders or calendar to plan a vacation? Don’t forget another key part of the spring, organizing! Horrible, I know. Well, actually I don’t quite know because I love organizing! That sense of self purpose when you get a room done.
The key is to tackle small manageable tasks one at a time. That desk? Look at what is preventing you from getting work done and start there? The kitchen? Start with those horrible plastic containers that seem to spill out everywhere. No matter your task, we want to help which is why we created this fun infographic! Look at all our products side by side and mix and match them to decide what is right for YOU! We think organization should be personal and easily customizable. With our fun inforgraphic, you can imagine each space and decide exactly what it needs. The only question you should have left is where do I start?!

Brand and products are abundant in our consumer driven world. Sometimes there’s almost too many choices when we shop. Should I buy the one with bamboo accents or stainless steel? Made in Latin America, Eastern Europe, Asia, or here at home in USA? Mass market low quality and low price or eco friendly high quality but a slight premium? Our choices are personal and reflect who we are as individuals. Perhaps in these economic times it’s a purely financial decision purchasing what we can afford. Other times it could be an emotional connection we have with a brand, color, the design, etc.
We thought we would ask our customers why they chose Way Basics when there are so many other alternatives out there. What we found out was very heart warming because it’s why we started the company and makes us so excited that so many people have embraced our brand and vision. Here are the results from a recent survey…
Customers enjoy Way Basics for our commitment to sustainability, modern design and making products simple to interact with.

Over 91% of our customers think that just peel, stick, done is easier than other do-it-yourself storage and furniture products on the market.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Way Basics! We very much value your feedback in our company and products, please reach out to us if you have anything you would like to share: talktous [at] waybasics.com
Happy Friday

Way Basics was proud to be included in Apartment Therapy’s Shopper’s Guide!
“When you’re looking for CHEAP — but not willing to throw all aesthetic consideration to the wind — this is the list for you. Here are 5 go-to sources for budget-friendly shelving and storage options for the design-minded organizer. Almost all of the units shown here are priced right around $100.”
“Exactly as the name implies, these shelving systems are way basic. Made from recycled paper, the zBoard furniture is exceptionally lightweight, sturdy and amazingly cheap — its downfall is that the weight limit is on the low side. I like the Madison Bookcase ($89.50) the best but their are fun, cheaper options like the Triple Rectangle Plus in Green($29.99). Strong enough for most uses, Way Basics are ideal for kids’ rooms, and nooks that you need some bonus shelving. As an added bonus, Way Basics are completely recyclable.”

Introducing the newest furniture line at waybasics.com, TOGETHER. Way Basics is the exclusive distributor of TOGETHER furniture and storage products and is happy to welcome this wonderful line of storage and furniture to our offering at waybasics.com.
Versatile, stylish and cleverly designed, the pieces of this all wood furniture, are cut to fit together perfectly, making it clean and very sturdy. Assembles and disassembles in a snap, each piece also ships flat, so your table will be ready for use in seconds. No tools or hardware are required for assembly. CARB (California Air Resources Board) certified and harvested from sustainable forests. The pieces have a beautiful unfinished look, so you can leave them as is or finish them to match your décor.
About TOGETHER
TOGETHER was developed and patented by architects, Roger Berent and Kyle Hulewat of MAP (Metropolitan Architecture Practice). Their vision was to create stylish and cleverly designed products for use in our everyday lives.
When Berent and Hulewat started their architecture practice in Detroit, the economy promptly fell apart. With a bit of extra time and a love for furniture and product design, they decided to take a chance creating a furniture line that is simple, affordable and efficient.
It took hours of brainstorming, designing, and prototyping to get the furniture line to the perfect specifications. After consulting with other top developers, the contemporary designs that would soon become TOGETHER were set in motion. Berent and Hulewat are focused on “small batch” production, with the idea that the quality of the product, rather than the size of the market, is what matters most. After cutting each piece of furniture to the proper specifications, they are hand sanded to make sure their high quality standards are reached and exceeded.
TOGETHER is 100% designed and made in Michigan, USA. Using natural materials and handcraftsmanship, TOGETHER is designed to be practical, functional, and look great!
