The Madison sans backing board looks great. I don't mind the backing board of some of the other pieces of furniture, but this looks great without the backing. How can recycled paper really be this strong? Nice design and very eco (Posted on 11/4/10)

I really like this book case. I wasn't sure what the dowel thing meant, but they are centimeter-tall little nubs that go in the pre-drilled holes on the boards, lining everything up perfectly. All you have to do is make sure that the tape sides are facing the right way (I put a couple on backwards because I wasn't paying attention) then peel and stick. Very easy construction, and a very solid design. I have every shelf crammed with books and it's holding up well. (Posted on 10/7/10)
