Happy Lunar New Year!

February 13, 2010

  Happy New Year
Happy Lunar New Year everyone!!  This year, the Lunar Calendar Year begins February 14, 2010 and goes through February 2, 2011. The New Year celebrations last 15 days and ends with the Lantern Festival which just so happens to be the first full moon. This year is the year of the tiger, which is 3rd of 12 animals in the Chinese Zodiac. The Tiger is the sign of bravery. They are courageous and the ancient Chinese believe that they keep away fire, thieves, and ghosts which they consider the 3 main tragedies of a household. They are powerful, gracious, independent, brave, and bold. Others tigers were born in 1902, 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, and 1998.  With the Lunar New Year falling on Valentine’s Day this year, we hope that love and happiness find you and your family!
